It's Free: Whatsapp is a free messaging service application. but in the future, it can be visible ads on WhatsApp.

E2E encryption: Whatsapp provides end to end encryption means your messages are secure.  Your messages can not be visible by WhatsApp.

Message storage: All messages are stored on your own device. eg- if you send a message to your friend and he is not available online then the message is stored on their cloud in an encrypted format. and it can be automatically deleted after 30 days.

Privacy: 

There is a quote "Privacy is a myth". This is my favorite tagline. If you are an android user and you use several applications then this quote is true. 

WhatsApp provides some customization that can make build your privacy somehow.

1. Group Privacy settings: You can choose for group that who are able to send messages in it.

2. Two- Step Authentication: Before Log-in in your Whatsapp Account You have to face a two factor authentication. Which includes some extra privacy.

3. Lock Up screen: Whatsapp Provides Lock screen inbuild. means you don't have to use any other software.

4. Read Scripts: You can allow user to see your delivered or read status.

5. Last Seen: You can change you last seen status. And also you can choose that who can see your last online availableibility.

6. Profile photo privacy: You can hide your profile picture to other users.

7. Status Privacy: You can also change your status privacy . for this when you upload a status only those users seee your status whom you allows.
