Wireless data transfer: Forget USB cables, here is how to wirelessly transfer data from Android device to PC

What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you want to transfer your Android phone’s content to PC or vice-versa. The most common answer to this question is either using a data cable, Bluetooth or WiFi Direct in some cases. Transferring files using the above-mentioned method requires setup and access every time you would want to transfer the data. But what if, there’s a way to wirelessly view and transfer all the mobile content on PC just like a drive.

This setup requires one time setup and WiFi connectivity(you can use your Hotspot for the same). If you are using a oppo / vivo such type of mobile then you don't need to setup these things it is already comes with the setting required for transmission of data. If you are not then you have to download a plugin/application named FTP File Transfer. As you all know i am a Linux user and i use Kde Connect that integrate my mobile with my computer. but for a general purpose i use WiFi FTP Server. You can download that from play store.

Here is a step by step guide.

  1. Download An application for file Transfer.    Download Application

  2. After Downloading your Application simply start the ftp server. in the setting you can change your access password and secure ftp option.

  3. After it the given ip address with port address type in search bar of a browser or file explorer.

  4. After inserting user name and password you can access your folders right in your PC.

  5. Here you can download and upload files like just you copy and paste in a pen drive.

conclusion:

Every time we don't carry a USB cables. but believe me i have seen the transfer speed of data is about 40 Mbps. so you have to cables for doing such things. just follow my blog.
