Which specs can run any Linux distro?

Linux Kernel is the most powerful kernel of all time. It can handle any type of load. If you want a laptop that can handle any Linux distribution. Linux is a very lightweight Operating system . so you did not need a higher configuration to run every operating system.

Minimum System Requirement to Run Any Linux Distro

  1. 64-bit Intel or AMD processor (x86_64 aka x64 aka AMD64)
  2. 4 GB RAM
  3. 32 GB disk space
  4. legacy boot mode (UEFI not supported yet)
Minimum Requirement for Different Linux Distros.
Debian:
  • Recommended system requirements are 1GHz processor, 512MB memory, 5GB hard drive.
Ubuntu
  • Recommended system requirements are 800MB memory, 1GHz processor, and 5GB hard drive.
Linux Mint
  • Recommended system requirements are 1GHz processor, 1GB memory, and 10GB hard-drive
Fedora
  • Recommended system requirements are 1GB memory and 10GB of hard-drive

From My Recommendations, You should need at least 8 GB of RAM and at least 250 GB of storage to run OS smoothly.

I hope you get the answer to the question. Thank you.
