What is Youtube Vanced?

YouTube Vanced is a modified version of YouTube that is very popular in the Android community. It adds a ton of features that you will never find in Google's official YouTube app. Things like built-in ad blocking, background playback without YouTube Premium, light/dark themes, and much more.

1. Main Features:

  • You have the option of a molded black design to reduce eye strain and battery life. 
  • Blocks all video ads and allows videos to play  in the background or picture-in-picture (Android 8.0 and higher only).
  • Swipe controls allow you to control brightness and volume like how it is in other video player apps such as VLC or MX Player (with configurable padding).
  • New auto repeat feature allowing you to enjoy videos like vines or simply continue playing a song on loop.

2. Customization:
